Welcome message
We are pleased to announce the Kyoto Breast Cancer Consensus Conference (KBCCC) 2026 International Meeting.
Since 2007, the Kyoto Breast Cancer Consensus Conference (KBCCC) has continuously convened regular domestic meetings, fostering in-depth discussions among experts on key clinical issues in breast cancer care. In 2009, the first international meeting was held, bringing together researchers and clinicians from around the world and establishing KBCCC as an important international forum for building consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
The KBCCC 2026 International Meeting will be held over two days, on Friday, April 10, and Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Kyoto International Conference Center, in a hybrid format combining onsite and online participation.
The primary objective of this conference is to build consensus in breast cancer care and thereby contribute to improved quality of life and better treatment outcomes for patients. Beyond what is addressed in clinical guidelines and major international conferences, this meeting aims to focus on real-world clinical decision-making that cannot be resolved by evidence alone. By integrating the collective wisdom of experts, sharing insights openly, and consolidating outcomes as the KBCCC group, we seek to disseminate internationally relevant standards from Kyoto.
The main theme of the meeting is "Precision in Motion: Elevating, Easing, Evolving." The scientific program will include invited lectures, panel discussions, consensus sessions, and poster presentations. Lively discussions are planned on clinically relevant topics such as local therapy, neoadjuvant treatment, escalation strategies for luminal breast cancer, biomarkers, and prevention and risk management.
We hope that this meeting will provide an invaluable opportunity for all professionals involved in breast cancer care to share the latest knowledge and apply it to daily clinical practice. We sincerely look forward to welcoming many participants to Kyoto.
